My Salah Mat - Kids Prayer Mat
Are your kids having trouble praying alongside you? Well, this interactive My Salah prayer mat is the best thing ever and I’ll be sharing a super detailed review so keep reading!
I’m sharing with you a really great company from the UK whose ultimate goal is to inspire and motivate children to want to pray and interact with the whole process of prayer.
My Salah Prayer mat is an Interactive mat, great for kids 3 to 10 years, and has 11 languages to choose from.
It’s foldable with fire-resistant and waterproof material.
And it’s an amazing gift for birthdays and for Eid.
It has 36 touch-sensitive keys that are educational and teach
Wudu,
Adnan’s
Surahs
Dua's
Salah Times
Salah positions and so much more.
HOW TO USE MY SALAH MAT
When you first take your Salah Mat out of the box you want to really flatten the prayer mat and make sure there are no creases. It has to be flat to work because the mat is touch-sensitive so a crease will definitely affect the touch-sensitive motion.
Once the prayer mat is flattened, to begin, make sure you choose the right language selection and then the right volume you can press the buttons and learn different things but if you want your child to pray, then have your child stand on the feet pads and the Salah will start to recite.
Just so you know if your child is on the feet pad all of the other keys will not work. This is a great design so that your other kids will not disturb the one praying unless they actually turn it off like my daughter did (she’s only 3).
This prayer mat was designed to only play the first 2 Rakat in order and actually will follow the kid’s motion so nothing will happen until the child places their knees, hands, and head together in the sujood position.
It’s really great way to ensure the kids learn the position of prayers and follow along.
Once the 2 Rakah are complete and they sit down in the 2nd Julus position then it will say the Tashahud, Salawat, and Salaam and then it will stop.
It is not designed as a replacement for the learning process or act as an Imam. My Salah Prayer mat is just there to help inspire a child struggling or not motivated to pray and to start to really love the act of prayer.
Their ultimate goal is to help the child learn the process of prayer and naturally move to a normal prayer mat. And once they’ve gotten comfortable take it to the next step. My five-year-old is really learning so much from this prayer mat and getting really encouraged to pray.
They really made it easy for us parents to teach our kids prayer time.
I also really encourage you to let your kids just press the buttons and discover this mat in a fun way. Once they get that out of their system then the praying portion will be looked forward to so even if they don’t use to pray in the beginning they will learn something with the 36 buttons available and will want to interact with the mat more and more.
My kids want to turn this on every day and pray alongside us so this has been an amazing mat to have in our home.
If you are looking for a complete beginners package to help your kids learn how to pray then this is the perfect product for you! .
I have placed all the links below where you can find this interactive mat. And make sure to look out for the hologram on the box so you know you are getting the right item.
Please, please, make Dua for this company for all that they are doing for the future of our children. Ameen!
